Itinerary: Luxury Rajasthan Varanasi Tour

Day 1: Arrival in Delhi

Our representative meets you after you arrive in New Delhi. The day is at your disposal – take a stroll in the nearby market or recover from jetlag in the hotel.

Day 2: Delhi

After breakfast, we set out to explore the quintessential sites of old Delhi beginning with the fort made with red sandstone, the bustling Chandni Chowk market, and the Sis Ganj Gurudwara – the epitome of ultimate human sacrifice!
After a visit to Humanyun Tomb, We drive past the iconic India Gate, the President’s house, and take a stroll through the classic Connaught place and Janpath markets before heading back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Delhi – Agra

We take a road trip to the city of the Taj and check in the hotel. After a visit to the lesser-known Agra Fort complex, we move to the Sheroes café, a unique initiative to help acid attack victims get back on their feet. Head to the Mehtab Bagh (the Moonlight Garden), a square garden complex made in synchronicity with the Taj. End the perfect evening with a visit to the local marble artisans who create strikingly accurate replicas of the monument.

Day 4: Agra – Fatehpur Sikri – Ranthambore

The Taj Mahal offers the best views in the wee hours. Proceed to visit the marbled wonder in all its glory before the drive to Ranthambore. On the way, we halt at the Fatehpur Sikri fort complex. From a towering gateway to the shrine of a revered Sufi saint, every corner of this complex has the power to transport visitors to a bygone era.

Day 5: Ranthambore

This day marks an interesting detour from the usual visits to monuments. After breakfast, take the jungle safari in Ranthambore national park in Sawai Madhopur, the protected area where you can spot the mighty Bengal Tiger.
Continue the safari in the evening and meet the officials working towards their protection, before retiring to the jungle resort.

Day 6: Ranthambore – Jaipur

Drive to the legendary Pink City after a sumptuous breakfast in Ranthambore. Check-in and get some rest before heading out to an ethnic resort that showcases traditional Rajasthani culture. Relish classic local cuisine and shake a leg with the folk dancers before returning to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 7: Jaipur

Jaipur used to be the seat of power for some of the mightiest kingdoms of India. We honor their legacy with visits to their imperial palaces namely the City Palace and Amber Fort. After a private tour of the City Palace, we check out the Hawa Mahal aka the Palace of Winds – the distinctive landmark constructed for the royal ladies to observe the daily life of Jaipur, without being seen themselves.
Take a heritage walk to the world-renowned jewelry market where skilled artisans create stunning artworks with silver and gold.

Day 8: Jaipur – Jodhpur

Drive to Jodhpur for our next adventure. You also have the option of a hot air balloon ride over the Pink city before departure at additional cost.
Check in your hotel upon arrival in Jodhpur and spend the rest of the evening at your convenience.

Day 9: Jodhpur

In the morning, we visit the majestic Mehrangarh Fort and museum, a powerful testament of Rajputana architecture. Discover 15th-century artifacts, weapons, and paintings from the empires that gave the Mughals a run for their money!
Next up, we have Jaswant Thada, Umaid Bhawan Palace, and Mandore Gardens. Embark on a heritage walk of the old Jodhpur market to meet the local spice sellers, leather craftsmen, fabric artists, and food vendors. Do not forget to taste the local tea and cheese before heading to the hotel.

Day 10: Jodhpur – Udaipur

En-route the early morning drive to Udaipur, we visit the intricately designed Jain temple complex of Ranakpur. After reaching the city of lakes by the evening, check-in at the hotel.
Take a relaxing boat ride at Lake Pichola before heading back to the hotel.

Day 11: Udaipur

The Venice of the East, Udaipur is famous for its glistening lakes. Begin the perfect day by visiting the City Palace, the poster landmark of the city right next to lake Pichola. We continue to Durbar Hall and Jag Mandir.
We walk through the winding streets of Udaipur and get face to face with the locals. Check out the traditional craft of jewelry, pottery, and bamboo work.

Day 12: Udaipur – Varanasi

After breakfast, we move to Varanasi, the epicenter of Hinduism and one of the oldest cities in the world. Take the short flight to Varanasi and check-in at the hotel.
In the evening we attend the mesmerizing ‘Ganga Aarti’ – the daily hymns to the goddess Ganga (Ganges). With hundreds of prayer lamps moving in unison at the hands of dedicated priests, this festival of lights is truly a sight to behold.

Day 13: Varanasi

Embark on a calming boat ride in the holy Ganges before breakfast and take a heritage walk across the Ghats. Visit the sacred temples like Kashi Vishwanath and their holy ponds believed to be hundreds, if not thousands of years old! Along the way, we also visit the Akhadas and meet the Sadhus from different sects of Hinduism.
The evening is at your disposal. You are free to visit the ghats, shop for souvenirs and taste the local cuisine.

Day 14: Varanasi – Delhi

Before you board the flight back to Delhi, check out the local markets that produce some of the finest silk sarees in the world and taste local sweets. Optional sightseeing arrangements can be made for the rest of the day.
In the afternoon, fly to Delhi for your onward connection.

Day 15: Depart Delhi
